Little bit of Redneck ways

Well today the Redneck in me is coming out!
I looked out side and seen a piece if siding was flapping at the top side of my porch. I was afraid that the wind would finally rip it off, so I thought of this to maybe hold it. I went an found a stretch cord with the the hooks at each end. I climbed on a chair and hooked one end into the siding, then wrapped it around my porch post and then hocked the other end into the siding.
So far it's held for around 2 hours, so I hope it keeps it there until the hurricane is over.

That's the kind of thing I would do, too! Good thinking!

Yea that's the downside of owning your place. But hey, if everything flys away, I can always pitch a tent on my land! llol

Hope it holds. Rednecks are an ingenious lot when it comes to inventions of necessity.

That's creative. I would have used a nail or a screw.
