Today I think I did something good. While preparing for the storm, I filled up two big containers, two five gallon buckets and other smaller containers with clean water. With the storm gone and my lights back on, I no longer need all that water. So instead of wasting the water by just poring it out, I decided to put it to good use. So I stopped up my tub and pored the two big contains in, then just ran some hot water and used it to bathe in. After I was finished with my bath, I left the water in the tub and also used it to give Pigeon a needed bath, since she had been in the mud puddles. I am also planning on using the rest of the water the same way, I just hate to see it go to waste.
