Today I seen something that kind of irritated me, I always feel this way whenever I see something wasted. I really feel this way when it has to do with food products Today I went to town for the first time since the storm, since I was starting to run out of things. While I was there I went to the Piggly Wiggly grocery store. While I was in there I thought about some Ice cream. When I got around to the area, I seen all the freezer section was full. The man there told me they wouldn't be selling any ice cream products till tomorrow, because everything they have spoiled. For me things like this is ridiculous and should not happen! The way I see it is, during a storm, most business can count on loosing their power at some time. So while you have all these customers shopping for supplies, why not just give it away. Let each person have maybe a couple to get rid of it. instead of it going bad. The only thing I can figure is, if they did that they probable couldn't clam it as a lose. I know my brother told me that the grocery store in their area gave all theirs away to customers for that reason, so I guess that's why I just don't understand this.

Its up to the CEO of that business who gets what free or not. I agree when it`ll be a loss they should give it away before hand.

that's how it should be to me. So does the companies just write it off as a lose or what?
