The polite way of saying something

Have you ever been on Facebook and seen a prayer request, or perhaps you have asked for one yourself. The thing that stands out the most to me is when the persons says,"God knows all about it".
Now this is just my opinion, but the way I see it is, If God already know all about it, then why are you asking for all them prayers!
To me I think when they say that, it's just a polite way of saying "I'm not going to say what it is,or it's really none of your business" but I need your prayers!
I had this happen to me not long ago, my nephew came to my house and everything was fine, Two days later his sister was posting on Facebook for prayers with the message, God knows all about it, here I am not knowing if he's alright or not or what has happened to him. I finally had to call his mother to see if he was ok.

I can understand how you feel. There have been times in my life when there was a problem that I just didn't want to share with everyone, but I desperately needed as many prayers as possible. I think we can pray for someone when maybe we don't know the need, but God always does.

Your right, I think in these case they need to just say, I need your prayers and that's it.
