Donuts with Dudes

Yesterday was Donuts with Dudes at my kids school. The kids loved that their daddy got up early with them and went in to have donuts with them before the school day started. They got a cute picture taken together by one of the moms that is a photographer.

That is always such a fun day for the kids, we just did grand parents day with our grandkids.

@ShyBear88 Yes, my husband goes to dads and donuts with our grandkids since my son passed and they don't have a dad now.

my first thought after reading this, i thought why not donuts with daddy... then i went, "oh... yeah." i can see as to how this is a good idea. the younger the child, the better the concept.

It was originally called donuts with dad’s but someone last year made a fuss about it so it go changed to Dudes. But we still say Muffins with moms. The kids can bring any male figure if they don’t have a dad and the same with moms. My kids one year brought my dad.
