I watched Mr. Holmes yesterday. I had taped it when Sundance channel was a free preview. It is based on the novel A Slight Trick of the Mind by Mitch Cullin. I haven't read the book. The movie has Ian McKellen, Laura Linney, Milo Parker, Hiroyuki Sanada, Hattie Morahan, and Patrick Kennedy. Big Warning: there is a sad part. In this movie, Sherlock Holmes is aging. He is getting forgetful. He wants to remember his last case so he can write a book of what really happened. His housekeeper's son helps him to remember. In the end, he does remember and does finish the book. I loved this movie. It is an interesting take on Sherlock Holmes. Next week I'm watching Garage Sale Mystery: The Novel Murders.

I will watch out for this one Jessica thanks. Yes it sounds quite sad some of it. Who would have thought Sherlock would ever be forgetful.
