I was watching the news last evening, and a young woman robbed an 84 year old senior woman and took her purse. The 84 year old had to go to the hospital, where she had a bruise on her hand, and was quite sore. She said why on earth would a person Rob someone her age. The woman who did it, was arrested. Cameras caught the incident, and people that knew the young woman help to turn her in. This is the third purse snatching incident in the last two weeks. Do please ladies. by all means, watch your purses. I don't even carry one now. because this crime seems to be on the rise.

I have not carried one for years. But I might buy one and start carrying a brick in it for them.

Crime in general is so much on the rise. It's very true what the Bible says at 2Timothy 3:1 - "Critical times hard to deal with will be here."
That verse is talking about the very things we see happening on a worldwide scale right now.
I'm glad the elderly senior wasn't injured any worse.

i guess they purposely prey on the weak, those who would not/could not fight back or chase them. but i'm glad people helped to identify the thief.

When she goes to jail, and they find out what she's on there for, she will have a lot of trouble.

@august18 I thought about that too, sounds like desperation. Last year, two men broke into an old lady house, and one of them raped her. When they went to jail the one that did that to the lady, when they showed him going to court, he was all beat up. I mean beat up.

Yeah, they seem to target older people. That really angers me.
