A three year old Pit Bull named Dallas has found a second chance to live a great life after he came close to being put to sleep after a police raid in Toronto Canada closed a dog fighting club that rescued around 30 Pit Bulls.
Thanks to Ron Scheinberg who hired a lawyer to prevent the Pit Bulls to be put to sleep, Dallas and 20 other Pit Bulls were able to find a new lease on life.
A group called Pit Sisters in Florida that is a group that tries to find homes for Pit Bulls and other breeds of dogs that are hard to find a decent home, was able to the Honaker Police in Virginia to hire Dallas to join the K-9 Unit.
Dallas will start his training on Sunday to become a dog that will sniff out clues for the police to solve cases when he gets a new handler after he finishes training.
