stop using our songs!

god these commercials lately.. i'm assuming my generation is making a lot of the commercials,and putting in what they like.. ..or the copyrights have come up on a few.. but what gets me is,a lot of the ones they pick make no sense with the product. they're using the stones' "like a rainbow" for a car commercial. wouldn't that be better for skittles or something? random beatles songs for different things.. but the one that really got me was a credit card commercial using a prince song. the man would be livid.. things like this are why you need a will,people. so your family won't be selling your stuff for metamucil or something..

@scarlet_woman It's not just the Stones making money but an entire support unit from managers to those running the website. The Stones are a corporation like any other and the object is to make money.

i noticed that trend also. and some you get really tired of hearing because they messed up a real great song. some as you say don't even make sense.

I just saw the song Lovefool by Cardigans basterdised by a noodles commercial and they the young millennials will thing the commercial jingle version is the original.
