Therapists Can't Be Too Hard On You. But They Can't Be Too Easy On You Either

Therapists can't be too hard on their clients, because if they do, many of those clients might drop out of therapy. But they can't be too easy on you either. The thing is, if they are too easy on you, you won't get the full benefit of psychotherapy. Sometimes they have to be a little hard on you because of it. So if a therapist does get a little hard on you, he or she probably isn't being rude. Instead, he or she is likely just being assertive so you can be helped as much as possible. Their has to be a balance, after all.

I fired my therapist. She was always and ever late, late and cancelling. Useless. How they keep their jobs I have no idea. Still she probably couldn“t manage me anyway You are right tho, they must have a good balance.
