Last week a 10 year old boy named Alijah whose last name was not mentioned received a very special gift from his music teacher.
Stacy Caldwell who is a music teacher at Wilmeth Elementary School in McKinney Texas was a witness of Alijah's talent playing the drums in her music class.
Stacy was impressed that Alijah has this gift of playing drums on a bucket can while he was not in her classroom.
Alijah claimed that he taught himself to play the drums which is kind of odd since normally children have a member of a band that they look up to.
The community in McKinney and Stacy decided to grant Alijah wish and they bought him a real drum set and gave it to him after class.
Alijah was overcome with tears of joy when he received his present. Thanks to Stacy and the community, Alijah can now practice playing the drums at his home as well as church, school and the Guitar Center.
Maybe Alijah as he grows into adulthood could be the next superstar drummer.

The kid could be the next Ringo Starr (The Beatles) or the drummer from Santana in the Woodstock Festival.

There are so many kids that don“t have enough money to get an instrument, yet they have talent for music.

That is one problem being poor. Lack of money to buy basic instruments to play.
