I Just Repaired this Old FLOWER/PLANT POT, Now It’s Useful

I’ve almost thrown this damaged flower/plant pot made from old tire. But I’ve change my mind because it can still be useful. Not too bad yet to be disposed. What I did next was grab some tools and materials and done the repair. I use staples wires to connect the detached portion of its body and I’ve cut some plastic bottles of colas trimmed, flattened, and attached it at the bottom. It was successful. It would cost me an extra amount if I bought a new one had I decided to trash it out.

The photo is to dark for me to see , it should have been beighter. Anyway, that's a great thing. I also do some repairs in the pots as long as it can be repaired especially to tires. But clay pots harder to repair.

Not a good photo there. Yes, I made the effort because I have second thought to dispose it. You need to replace those broken clay pots of course. You have pottery there, right?

Broken clay pots I break totally and add to the path way going to our small pond, they are beautiful, prevents mud when it rains.

Thank you very much. I should have regretted if I thrown it away.

Wow, that's great! Lately, I've also been trying to fix old stuff, or use things I would normally throw away for something new. DIYing is fun!

Yes, you are right. If we just push ourselves, we can still do wonders on things that we thought we're gonna parted with.

Our dog loved to chew the plastic plant pots up so I had to stop using them and put the other ones much higher out of his reach where he cannot reach them.

@ZedSmart I had to put a stop to it though and he grew out of the habit for a while and then I found him chewing a plant pot up not so long back. That is what I get for trusting so much.

I repair and restore anything whenever I can, it's a lot of savings. I also have a tire pot intentionally split because the plant in it was transplanted, I'm also planning to repair using staples but no time yet

That's a good idea. If we can still use it then we must. It's not good to spend another amount just to buy new item.

Good to save and reuse an item.
