If a tree falls in a forest and nobody is there...wait. What?
What about said forest? Does *it* "hear"? Does the fallen tree feel pain - or go to "Heaven"?
What say the Stoics? The Epicureans? Descartes?
If the tree never thinks, was it ever there?
