I started this book via my Kindle months ago. Then I got busy with work and other stuff and hadn't even really touched my Kindle except to use the browser or Netflix app on it.
Then last week I picked it up and became engrossed in the story again and finished it yesterday.
The book is based on the murder of The Clutter family in November of 1959. I had never really heard of the case, or the book or anything surrounding the murders until I read the book.
I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about the content of the story or the actual book when I started it, but I ended up loving it and loving Capote's way of writing.
The story describes both the Clutter family in the days leading up to the murder, the last things they were doing in their last days. It also talks about the killers and their backgrounds. There are some pretty graphic verbal illustrations of the executions if Perry and Dick (the murderers) as well as the murder scene.

Aren't there two different versions of the movie?

@JohnRoberts Well that's an interesting choice. Eric Roberts has had an interesting repertoire of acting rolls.
