They've never done that before....

I shopped on line again, as I needed some things in the house for my "bug": ie: Theraflu and orange juice. I ordered a few more things food-wise, too--as I believe they require you to buy a certain amount to qualify for delivery.
So anyway, I've been told once the delivery person gets here that they couldn't deliver (insert grocery item here) because they were out of stock. I don't get charged for it, at least.
A little bit ago a gal called saying she was the person (I don't know if it was getting or delivering) my groceries for me, but they were out of a certain thing and would I like this or that instead. So, I picked one (a pre-made dinner) that sounded good.
The groceries won't be here for another hour, but at least I'm getting a bit more food and some stuff to help with my "bug".

@xstitcher don't purchase any groceries online. Be careful. These are not good.

Hope you get well soon! Times like these, it's great that there are online shopping services available. I am from the Philippines, and online shopping isn't as popular as it is in other countries. I hear of online groceries, but have never tried ordering groceries online myself. Many people are afraid of online transactions and scammers (as there are many,) and would rather get things themselves. I don't have exact statistics here, but by observation I think online grocery shopping is just not a thing yet.

I used to work for a grocery store, and I know that the people in the department responsible for "grocery pickup" were required to call and offer a replacement item.
