Scammed by VSC

I am experiencing extreme runaround with VSC. I bought a refundable warranty if we don't use it - we get it back. At 60,000 miles I tried to redeem it and was told by their representatives twice and my car dealership twice it was 60,000 plus the mileage on the car at the time of purchase. I kept meticulous records and waited until 72, 418, which is what they all told me and now it has been denied. I am going to get an attorney. But what other recourse do I have but that? I am so frustrated and very, very angry.
