What was the worst thing that happen to your christmas tree?

Mine was last year. Our cat went up the tree and knocked it over. The bad part was I just filled it with water, so all that water went all over the carpet. What a mess that was.

My son is in a wheelchair, and when he was first starting to use it, he got too close and ran over presents and knocked the tree over. Thankfully the presents were ok, but what a mess.

I know what a mess. We didn't have any presents under the tree. I just wanted to cry. So I know how you feel. I couldn't beat the cat, cause she did understand. Thank you for responding to my discussion. It was very helpful.

Sorry but I had to laugh. I have cats so I can picture what you are saying. The only thing they do to mine is knock the ornaments off and pee under the tree. I got smart one year and took some string and tied it around towards the top of the tree, then take the other end of the string and secure it to the wall. Fishing line might work too, so it is not visible.
