It has been awhile since I've done a post about my impressions on a book. I figured I might as well do that for this book. I am a little more than halfway done with the book and have gotten over the hurdle of not being impressed. There were parts in the book that I felt weren't altogether confusing but were certainly a little too drawn out. I've obviously not reached the conclusion and I am curious about what is to come, but I do like the characters. There is a woman who has gone through life half awake and who wants more for herself. She chooses to create her own reality, though her actions may or may not be detrimental to others. (I've actually asked "hypotheticals" here based on this character) There is also a man who has struggled through life. He is the epitome of many of us today in that he struggles with depression. He is also a thief, though the book is written in such a way that you can't really hate him for his actions. The third character is a young woman who has known loss. She is pregnant and being abused. She gets out of that situation, but she struggles in her own way. The three of them come together. I won't say much more than that as I don't want to ruin things for people who might potentially read the book.

I think one of my favorite things about the book is the cover and the title.
