Very Short Story....

Three men came into my life and their quiet calm saw me through a very sticky situation.
After having endured the raging Cantabrian Seas in a certain boat.
Three gentlemen saw my plight and came to my rescue like shining white knights.
One was from Santander who said they should be ashamed of themselves not trying to help you.
The other two from Plymouth who went out of their way to find me somewhere to rest and eat on a very cold and freezing frost day.
This journey took me 24 hours or more in a boat.
Which crossed through French waters and still the sea was raging right to the very last minute.
Life came back into me and much much gratitude to those people and the ones that I have forgotten to mention from the boarding house that gave me to eat at nearly twelve o clock at night.
Shining white knights that is how I feel about how all these men came to my rescue and saw me safely there.
Of which I am not going to even take note.
I was safe but I learned that in those very waters around Plymouth that very night eight very brave Lifeboat Men had lost their lives.
Imagine how grateful I felt very much so.

By a certain boat tops and I was six months pregnant at the time and it was December and the motors of that boat for someone like me were awful with the huge swell of the sea right from the start to the end in Ëngland.
I was dreadfully seasick and I won´t mention the rest the story is about how I managed to get to England in once piece and the poor lifeboatmen that lost their lives in the very same waters all 8 of them.

@lovinangelsinstead21 It looks like a terrible experience ! Have you taken a boat since, or did it dissuaded you ?

Yes I took a boat since then but from a different place altogether.
The boat was way too hot way too stuffy and being on the bottom part of it made it worse as I had to get to the top of the boat by myself to get my son and me food.
The boat was on its side tilted all the way from Cantabria through your waters and three or more hours to dock in England.
The motors of the boat made me more ill than the waves themselves.
The chugga chugga of the motors were crucifying me literally as I was unable to keep anything down.
The crew were of no help at all as its one of those boats where you help yourself or no one does.
I had to go to England to rest as I was in danger of losing my fourth Son at the time.

That journey had more downs than ups but the ups were much better for sure as I needed help as I was terribly exhausted and having to look after my other son at the same time.

In the end because I had managed to hold myself together it worked in my favour but not after a lot of problems.

I have been on a boat twice. But they were short rides. I was sea sick on them. I might get sea sick on longer rides on a boat.

Its all a question of getting used to it really but when I was in that state of having a baby it does make it that much harder to not feel ill not so much because of the sea but because of the motors of the ship itself truly awful.
So sorry you got so sick too its just that we have some very roughe Seas around Spain and France in winter not to mention the English Channel the best one of all next to the Irish Sea.

Though you titled it Very Short Story but I have strong feeling the main character is you and those whie knights.
As if I was reading a suspenseful story if it was only longer.

Its a long long story and a lot way too emo
tionally charged so I have done it the way I was taught at School to be sort of like a journalist and make it shorter and cut the emotional charge out.
The effects of that journey lasted a long long time so its very hard to put into detail.

We were all taught that method of how to condense a story and make it short and have keywords in it for description.
Some like that way others did not and it stuck with me always.
Its cut short because of the privacy of all the other situations involved you see that is why really more than anything else.
There were two very desperate situations that took me to England in the middle of December when the seas are that their wildest of all and I really had no choice but to go at that time.

I don´t blame you the Irish Sea is very treacherous also believe me.
Its as rough as the Cantabrian Sea.
