I do believe that the first impression is very important but I don't believe clothes make the person. Unfortunately, nowadays many people judge the others upon the way they dress. What do you think?

I will agree that clothes don’t “make” a person, but I feel they allow a person to express themselves. Unfortunately in our society, there are many preconceived notions about people by the clothing that they wear. I believe this is why there are so many schools that have went to uniforms. So no clothes don’t make the person who they are, but they definitely give people a reason to make assumptions, whether those assumptions are right or wrong!

I agree with you. Clothes don't make the person. But now people make mistakes. For them clothes make the person.

i guess it depends on the the surroundings, if the person is properly dressed for it. etiquette for dressing and clothing is slowling being eaten away at.
