Do you think the Catholic Church is doing enough to deal with sexual predators within its ranks?

Because of the sensitive nature of this topic, I want to keep a focus on the question and avoid comments like "the pope is the Antichrist."
In recent months it has become evident that the problem of sexual predators among the priests and bishops of the Catholic Church is even worse than previously thought. We also now know that the cover-up among authorities was also worse.
Are you satisfied with the efforts being made to deal with this horrendous problem?
I am a Catholic and, frankly, I am not satisfied in the least. I believe that Pope Francis has completely failed to address the issue to the point where I consider him derelict in his duties. In addition, I don't see this ever changing.

they are doing more to suppress the issue than address it

@garysibi Sadly the problem is rife in many churches - the more people speak out the better

Since I posted this I found out that the Archdiocese of New York contributed more than $2 million to fight for laws that would make it even more difficult to prosecute those who committed these crimes and those who covered them up. When they do stuff like that it makes it impossible to to believe they are interested in justice in this matter.

That problem will always exist because Priest or Fathers are still men and they have desires to.

In short, no. And I think it is now too late. The Catholic church has never missed an opportunity to miss an opportunity to grasp this nettle, and the train has now left the station. In my lifetime I have observed Ireland morph from an overwhelmingly conservative, Catholic, traditional society to a positive, open, liberal and progressive one. What a relief.

While I would disagree that the changes in Ireland are a positive thing, I can completely understand why the Irish people would reject the church after the atrocities done by some of the priests in your country.
I don't think this is a liberal vs conservative issue, however. In the USA the church is very liberal and has been for a while.
