Does complexity mean bad?

I always wonder as I consider systems. First, the software architect definition of system is well virtually everything is a system. Inputs, business process and outputs is the simple "definition" we will go with.
That said complexity is something that vexes uses. But is a complex system bad? Does the very existence of complexity mean the system has gone off the intended rails and is now running amok?
Or is complexity simply a part of the human condition? We, along with some of the other higher mammals are some of the most complex systems on this planet. Is complexity merely an extension of us, or a problem?
What do you think?

Our complex nature makes us human being that we are. If our nature isn't what it is then there wouldn't be much difference between us and other animals.
