I find it reasonably alarming knowing that the erratic weather could be significant of something on a larger more dramatic score, as you described it "the end". Here in Melbourne the weather is ALWAYS unpredictable. Raining and freezing one day, and boiling the next. I think a lot of the trouble has to do with global warming and the entire world needs to make an effort in reducing the amount of chemicals and pollution they send into the air, because it is only speeding up the process. I can see within twenty years the entire human population scattered in domes around the planet shielding us from the weather and ferocity of the sun as the ozone layer further disintegrates. People need to realise it is our childrens future we should be concerned about rather than our own.

Global warming, it's gonna screw up the earth big time....I wrote quite a bit about the effects of global warming on another post but I've no idea where it is!
So, ocean currents could be thrown off course, meaning ports may freeze etc, more unpredictable, stormy weather patterns, increased drought. increased sea levels mean more flooding and the loss of landmass. Animal habitats and crop growing patterns will be affected. Horrible insects will be able to survive in more countries (please stay out of Ireland! lol)....o, and i pity polar bears etc cos they're in major trouble.....if i think of anything else i'll be back!

Hi, I know what you mean. Yesterday it was freezing rain, today thunderstorms, tomorrow snow. Must be global warming

As long as I remember is always like this in Chicago.
I remember one day (10 years ago) when i left home at 8 am and it was about 75F/about 22C. It happened in 5 hours, temperature droped down to 32F/0C, and snowing. Can you imagine my dilema? I was wearing flipers and shorts.
Coldest day in my life.

Yes I really think that there is something majorly wronh with today's world weather. I live in Pakistan. In the month of February and March, there was no snowfall in the northern parts. In these months there is always spring. The whole world's weather has changed dramatically due to the increase in industries and cutting down natural forests to live, for wood, for commercial reasons. It has also helped in extinction of many creatures from this world. Thus increasing the global temperature resulting in more evaporation of sea water. Floods, hurricanes and tornadoes are the after effects of such injustice with the nature.
