Leaves That Are Green

Continuing with my autumn songs I come to “Leaves That Are Green” by Simon and Garfunkel. The song was recorded in 1965 and is on the album Sounds of Silence which came out in 1966. I don’t know about the rest of you but my leaves here in Florida are still green. I was used to seeing oak trees and pine trees and now I have palm trees and other trees I do not know the names of. Summer seems to be eternal and now I am longing for autumn. How many of you know this song? Are the leaves changing color where you are?

Beautiful song from them. My first time to listen to it. The most notable song I know from them is The Sound of Silence.

Yep, although there are a few stubborn trees here and there, a lot of the trees are already bare.

It looks like it's the same here in Florida @JohnRoberts I wait for colored leaves and all I get are green.
