Bad days / myLot

The last few days were not so good for me. My son got sick and he got a high fever (39,8 C

) so I took a leave from work to take care of him. Fortunately he got better and he's under treatment now, antibiotics and a few other medicines (recommended by his pediatrician). But I must say, these were some bad days for me, he really got me scared, watching him shiver and cry. He's almost two years old now and he's going to kindergarten, I think there will be more episodes like this one until he gets stronger and develop some more antibodies. Hopefully he's gonna get stronger soon

Thank you, he's all better now. Still taking medication, but everything seems ok. I'll keep him at home for one more week, after that, back to kindergarten

I hate it when the little ones get sick, he is in kindergarten at 2 yrs old? Wow, ours don't start until 5 or 6, hope he feels better soon

Thank you, he's doing fine now. 5 or 6 years old? That's unusual for us, they usually start at 3 years here, but some kindergartens accept even younger babies. I was 6 when I went to school.

@Kasjnak We have daycares for infants and then preschools for the little ones below 5, then kindergarten.

@cintol maybe it's similar here, but they are called diferently. Anyway, this month he was at home mostly, because he got sick. All better now, tomorrow he'll be back at kindergarten

I'm very sorry to hear how ill your son was, and am glad he's getting well. He will develop antibodies as he gets older and more exposed to illnesses.

. That's what happens when he enters a colectivity, there are many germs and viruses there. Hopefully this will also boost his immune system, it's gonna be a hard time though.
