The 2018 Boston Red Sox team have a super fan named Mary Latowski who is 102 years of age who has attended the home games of the Red Sox when the team won the World Series in 2004, 2007 and 2013 as well as attending the second game of the current World Series at Fenway Park.
Mary was born on Valentine's Day in 1916 which was the year the Red Sox beat the then Brooklyn Dodgers and the 1918 World Series team that defeated the Chicago White Sox.
Mary had recently suffered a stroke that had her at the Kent Hospital in Coventry Rhode Island for three weeks doing a rehabilitation stint. .
She was discharged on Tuesday which was just in time to attend the second game of the 2018 World Series in Fenway Park.
Talk about a devoted fan of her favorite baseball team that has the great times and bad times of her favorite baseball team in her 102 years of life.

I understand where are coming from since it took the New Orleans Saints 43 years to win a Super Bowl after being the laughingstock of the National Football League for many years.

She must be thrilled at the Sox success since 2004 after a lifetime of futility.

That is true since the Red Sox, Indians and Cubs have had their share of losing so many times.
