I made a short poem regarding the feeling of someone who is depress. This can be my last hi and hello! Before I bid goodbye, I'd like to say "THANK YOU" For being a part of my circle of friends But I guess every beginning has an end When I'm gone will you cherish me? When I'm gone will you miss me? Or when I'm gone you will be totally happy? Relieved from your misery.

I also am baffled that many are going through with this problem. The reason is different from people to people and triggers can be as simple as anything under the sun. I really do not understand it since I have not been inflicted by it but it seems my son is and we are bring him to a psychologist to have him talk it out of his system.

@Nercie At first we thought it like his normal teenage rant that he is going through but as days pass by he changed his attitude so we got alarmed and heeded help because we do not seem to know what to do since this is the first time he acted differently.

is your son not sharing his feelings to anyone? I once felt this when I became a loner, I seldom talk to my family what I am going through. All I do is draw, write and listen to music. They're not very much bother at first because they thought it's just the typical me, growing up, they thought it as a good sign that I am not being influenced by my peers because I am always at home. What they doesn't know is that I am already going through something inside me. So, I think open communication is still the best. Have some conversation with him.

Depression is never a simple thing. It is quite a sensitive matter. I know the feeling. I've been there (if not still there). I hope everyone who suffer from this will find another solution.

I agree with you. She's actually almost giving up. I'm trying to comfort her, make her see other horizon so she can cope up. I've been there to so I also know how hard it is to fight and move on.

@Nercie I hope depression will make her stronger. I think when we deal with some problem and we will able to manage it. Somehow, it makes us a bit stronger.

@simplfred It made me more stronger. When I overcome it, I felt like nothing will beat me now as long as God is with me.

Is this poem something you wrote when you feel alone?

@rakski she's trying her best. I keep on reminding her our memories with the other friends. With God's help she will be fine.

Nope, a friend of mine became my inspiration. She's going through depression right now and that's how she perceive life. She wanted to end it, she's hopeless.
