Kitty litter

Japan

In Japan, the most expensive part of having a cat (an indoor cat, anyway) is the kitty litter. It's even more expensive than food, and seriously, if you have a cat inside your small Japanese house you want it to be good litter that absorbs odors. I get a kind of sawdust pellet and for each cat I use one bag a week (change twice). I found another kind that is cheaper and just as nice and easy to use. One of the cats loves it, but the other does NOT. And when she doesn't like it, she leaves "presents" for me other places. So it's back to the expensive kind for the spoiled princess and the not-so-expensive one for the younger, less picky cat. Fortunately, neither is picky about food. Are your cats picky about litter or food?

@petatonicsca It has to be the right brand or they just won’t use it, just like yours.
