All for one and one for all is my favourite ending to a Film not too sad and not that violent really. Porthos with his wild hair and I have not put any other clip of him as he comes across very well and you can see him yourself in the scene "Porthos and the cure for Depression". Was thinking that I have the same kind of wild hair as Porthos but I have not got a bad hair day he is funny during all of this Drama. I love the costume period of it also. A musket like that was in our house but kept from some great Grandfather which I was sorry to say I don“t know who he was.

I was a battle -re-enactor until recently - though I used a pike-staff I often worked with and in opposition to musketeers

I like the film itself and its really not to take seriously as you could easily take say "Braveheart" which was more about wallace himself and all that. Porthos was a funny Porthos not your typical expected Musketeer I would think anyway.

@arthurchappell I know that but I like the light hearted theme he takes up and he is someone I like to listen to and watch. I have seen the Three Musketeers on BBC1 and a lot of the classic Series from before like Lorna Doone and so on and I still remember the first series of Jane Eyre in black and white. I love classics but I also like a light hearted theme too.

@lovinangelsinstead21 He has quite a dark history in the novel of The Three Musketeers. Worth watching the Three/Four Musketeers movies from the 1970's, with Oliver Reed as Porthos too - still the best adaptation and best acted version to date

I really Leo Di Caprio but I like the one who played Porthos Gerard Depardieu as he is really funny and makes for a humour in such kind of a movie.

I still watch it every so often maybe not all of it but bits of it rather. Nice to relax with and I love the costume period of that time.

@ridingbet He was really good as the King and then as his brother no doubt about that and I would much prefer Philippe that kind of character as the other was pretty ruthless really.

@lovinangelsinstead21 DiCaprio is turning into a bankable actor and a best actor as well.

@lovinangelsinstead21 Oh Yes, that is true but the role I immediately associate to Depardieu is Obelix

@nela13 Its more difficult for me to imagine him like that as I am seeing him as Porthos and he was also good in the "Count Of Monte Cristo" but less funny then a bit too serious.
