WhatsApp to have ads soon

WhatsApp is all set to roll out an update that will include ads in their app. The ads are meant to be on the status pages. WhatsApp has been completely free till now. I hope the ads are not too intrusive and we don't get spammed by the advertiser's. What do you think?

May be they can also introduce something similar to PPC on whatsapp.

@theend it's not bad if it's non-intrusive and does not track your usage pattern or peeps into your phone
