yes i do love my dad same as my mom. Although my dad is not that perfect (anyways nobody's perfect) still he's always their and even accept my failure and false, actually he's the one who is supporting us (Coz my husband salary is not enough for us). i was really thankful to have them in my life...tat they are my parents

There is no alternative! Your dad loves you more than you love him. So, he obviously don't want to make a repeat- mistake by you what he did during his whole life span. May be it hard to follow him, however, please do not neglact his experience of life.
