Hey, I like These Solar Panels

We got 11 of them and they finally hooked them up. Had a couple of free months in Summer, but now fall. Days falling shorter, probably will not be as sunny, but sister goes need some money for the electric bill. How much? A buck.
That is it, how much was it overall? $2.79. Cool, here is a buck, next month I get the low part of the bill because a buck is to much for me. I told her and my brother they jerks for making me pay most of the bill. My Brother said, hey I gave a buck too. Oh, OK, so our sister is exploiting us. She goes damn right, its my house and if you do not like it, there is the door.

Wow, that's a lot for solar panels. Why 11 anyway?
I too, would want a big solar panel since the weather here is mostly so sunny, from March until Novermber, though a bit rainy this week.
However, a soilar panel that can run a ref , a tv , electric fans and a washing machine would cost more than 100,000 pesos or US$1,851.85.
If only I have that much money now, I would buy. That's because brownouts or blackouts are frequent specially on rainy season or when there is a typhoon.

We got 11 because that is specifically what they said we qualify for. I think we paid a couple a hundred for all of them overall which is a steal considering how much they sell at market value here. People hate socialism but tell you what they love little programs like that.
There is actually books people wrote of how you can get the government to pay for everything in this country, Its how a lot of politicians get rich but for normal people like us they are very hard to qualify for and most get rejected and we were even surprised they let us qualify for this.

@crossbones27 You are lucky you were able to get them all for only a hundred. That would have cost a lot of money already. At least, with solar panels, you will not worry if there will be a storm and there will be a blackout. That's how versatile solar panels are.

@SIMPLYD Its still connected to the grid and we did find that out because they gave us a rolling brown out because the year started with a 117 degree day and people were running ac's like crazy. But you can design it that way but here actually think its illegal because we love our capitalism. They do let people run generators and what not and even those can be solar power now. They shut down the power and solar panels were indeed connected to Edison.
I mean technically we can all live our life without any money with all the inventions they have from growing own food to making own electricity but we capitalists not minimalists which is what I am trying to be, the latter one.

I have no idea to be honest, my brother would know that. Its where I get bored when people start telling me that stuff.
All I know is we run like three computers and brother and sisters computers are gaming ones so they eat a good bit of electricity Microwave, refrigerator, sisters tv toaster oven, oven which is more natural gas and the lights and was only 2.79 so must be a good bit of wattage. In summer the swamp cooler was running none stop and were not charged a cent for two months.

@louievill Its on grid obviously why we still get a bill. When we use to much or over what solar panels bring in.

@crossbones27 that's a lot of wattage if its an off grid system.

Indeed, I would kick me out too. I have to beg and grovel to stay here every week.
