Well, that was a waste of time...

...though I did get a couple of nice conversations in while I was out. I woke up early, and busted my behind to get to work by eight a.m. -- and no one was there. I hung around for about twenty minutes and figured no one was coming, so I left and caught the bus home. People were talking about schools being closed on the bus, but of course, no one told me that the preschool that I worked at was closed. Of course, when I got home, there was a message on my answering machine about it (and no, it wasn't there before I left). Oh, well. I get to be home with my dog, it's Friday, and I don't have to go anywhere for two days (nobody told me if we were closed for the Veteran's day holiday, either). So, here I am. Hope that you are having a great day/evening, etc. in your part of myLot land !
