I dont know if it is a function of age, or "modern times" (including the impact of social media), climate change (natural AND social!) or just the ebb and flow and cyclical nature of life and all its phenomena, but does it seem to anyone else, say aged 30 and over, that we are experiencing an increase in and even ACCELERATION of catastrophe?
Be it fires or shootings, hurricanes and/or floods, the world feels to me ever more chaotic and destructive.
Am I alone in this perception??

i think it's the media flood.more people are filming and throwing things up on the internet than the way news slowly trickled out before.it only seems like an acceleration.
