I’m not sure if this is happening with other countries but I heard reports in the past that when holiday season or festival is approaching or happening to places, it’s also the time that counterfeit money would proliferate.
I think this is because that people are busy and there’s the rush of buying. It is also known that people have extra cash on this time enabling them to shop more.
Let’s be because criminals are just around the corner ready to victimize us.

This is true because the Central Bank of our country is already giving warnings to the community to be alert on counterfeit paper bills. Its good to know the legit money to the fake ones.

I agree when Christmas season approaches these counterfeiters are taking advantage of this because most shoppers would not mind checking the money they receive from others that is why they circulate much more faster at this time and remains unnoticed by many. So it's timely we should be careful when receiving money to always check it.
