Do you enjoy cooking? Have you ever cooked your home meal?

I used to love watching my mom cook, and I used to also give some unwanted advice to her, influenced by some recipes that I used to read in newspaper. It was only when I joined Merchant Navy, that I actually learnt to cook with my own hand, during long sea voyages. On some occasions, where there was multinational crew, and the cook wasn't Indian, I have taught the cook how to cook Indian dishes like fish curry, dhal fry, etc.

You are good at cooking well ... while I am not very able to cook, I still often ask my mother to help me cook

@leny34, I wouldn't say I'm good at cooking, but I can cook some Indian dishes for survival

Yes I love to cook at home but sometimes I still want to eat out on a restaurants for special occassions
