So I was sitting there minding my own business

When I heard a screech, or maybe a squeal? It certainly wasn't a squeak. Then it came again and I realized it was more of a squeal, and not a screech. Again, it was no squeak, too loud for that. The first time I heard it, I thought maybe the neighbors were celebrating Native American Heritage. One does have a rather Native American sounding name, after all. It became more distinct after the second time I heard it. By the third time I heard it I had to laugh, they weren't calling to their ancestral Gods at all. No, no the Gods they were calling to aren't their ancestors at all. It was their cats. "Here Kitty Kitty Kitty Kitty"

I certainly hope they won't! The neighbors have several cats. Only two of which have approached me. One will sometimes come up to me and ask for pets when I am outside. Another I have gotten to come to me, albeit only for a moment.
