Migrants from Central America

United States

These migrants walking from Central America to the United States may be in for a rude awakening if and when they finally get into the U.S. There is lots of low paid work but there is limited to no housing available. Social services are often mediocre when you can get them. We are also going to have to provide for our own first such as the victims of the California fires and of flooding elsewhere. I wonder what these migrants were told by those who got them into these caravans to the United States. They must be coming with "fantasies" of what life is going to be like for them once they get here. I realize they are fleeing deplorable conditions but living on the streets of Chicago or Houston or Detroit is not going to be much better. There are a lot of predators looking to victimize the vulnerable.

North America (the US and Canada) at its worst offers more for many of the refugees. Picture those who have been affected by the Hurricanes, floods and fires in the US. Now imagine experiencing those conditions for years.

Not sure how far they will go.First we need to take care of our people. We are first and not the immigrant. This is getting out of hand and need to be stopped.
