One thing about the snowstorm that hit New York City on Thursday caused a lot of chaos.
Christina Christie received a frantic phone call from the matron of a student who has special needs who is John Christie is her son who was trapped inside a school bus with five other students that was stuck in traffic due to the snowy roads.
All of the students attend Cook School in East Village which is a private school for students with special needs.
Christina had left her job in Midtown to pick up her child who has inside a school bus that was stuck in the snow and traffic that was at a standstill.
It took Christina around eight hours to drive her auto until the traffic standstill was too much for her to stand.
Christina managed to park her auto on a sidewalk and walk one mile until she was able to get her child out of the bus after 1 in the morning.
Since Christina was near a police station, a police officer was able to drive her son back to their home safe and sound.
I am sure that all of the other students had a relative come pick them up and be taken home by a police officer as well.
The people in New York City are angry that the city officials dropped the ball in concern for the safety of their people since they were not ready for a huge snowstorm on Thursday.

It's best to just try to stay inside and not venture out into all that white.

That is true since the cold weather can take out someone very fast.
