I am not expecting this good news story to make it on the top story of the national news since it does not the narrative of "Not allowing a bad story goes to waste."
Franklin Police Officer Carlos Pardue was called to assist a woman who lost $20 dollars to pump gasoline when she paid a clerk the $20 dollars to pump gasoline in pump nine.
The catch was that when she found out that she made an error by telling the clerk that she meant pump five, it was too late since another customer used the gasoline pump that the woman was going to use.
Naturally the driver who took advantage of the woman's error did not own up to his error, the woman lost her $20 dollars and she was crying that because of her error, she was broke.
Officer Pardue then pumped the gasoline for the woman who had two kids with her at the time of the incident and paid the $20 dollars to the clerk as a favor.
The woman then called the Franklin Police to infom them of the courteous act of Officer Pardue who has gained a reputation as a kind police officer accordint to Lieutenat Brian Pacifico.
