Lost German Shepard

I walking on my way home because the store I went to was still closed
Later I noticed a Shepard was walking the biker. I thought he owned the dog until they separated and he kept walking in the middle of the street. People got worried because he was drooling.
I think he's a pet that got away or some one threw him away. He clearly didn't understand how dangerous the road was.
Before I lost sight of it, He was chasing a female dog. Must be mating season.

I hope so because this dog was really terrified some how and he's definitely not a street dog because he was walking in the middle of the street @rakski

Hoping that the dog was not lost at all and was just wandering off for a bit.
German Shepherds are beautiful dogs.

Do you know if anyone reported a missing dog like him?
He could have been drooling for other reasons though.
Does not have to be rabies.

Hello @lovinangelsinstead21 I would feel sad for that dog if some dog eating person gets interested in this poor thing. Yeah, maybe if it wasn't drooling I could have adopted him.

Well for as long as he is not aggressive to anyone I think he is not a problem. But it is strange that he is lost since those kinds of breeds are usually taken cared of by their owners. Must have taken loose on his cage and got away. Those dogs that are on leash or caged usually would wander around and excited to see the outside world that is why they will not feel sad or miss its owners.

Hello @rsa101 I was scared as well because they could have hit the dog or he could have attack any one. But he went on chasing a female dog and then gets barked by another.

@Letranknight2015 Those big dogs can be very scary. We used to give sweetts to an alsatian on the way home from school as it was in a yard and we assumed it was starving. It was probably just guarding the building site, but we were convinced it was neglected. Never occurred to us dog food or biscuits might have been a better option.

Poor dog!! Hopefully he goes back to his owners. And I hope that he is lost and not thrown away.
