The terrace in Kumbhalgarh Fort in Rajasthan is very high. Travellers are required to climb many steps. Many travellers take rest after climbing some 100 steps. Then they read the stories mentioned by Archaeological Survey of India. Then again they climb. From the roof top brilliant scene of jungles can be seen.

Are you high above sea level before you start? Climbing 100 steps would certainly make you breathless if that is the case, but less so if you start from lower down.

Thanks John, yes it is at a height. The Kumbhalgarh fort is already situated at a hill in Rajashthan. It makes travellers breathless and then they take rest. Then they climb.
