Weird Word Wednesday- Insouciant

Here is another word which is new to me.
It's timely for me to learn it and share it because I've recently been stressing
over things I can't control. 
Insouciant is French in origin. Oui! I need peace of mind.
What are your thoughts about this word? Have any of you heard it before?
