Jamie the hamster spent around six days inside a water pipe after he escaped from his cage on Sunday in England. Thanks to Alison Sparkles who is a member of the Royal Society for the Prevention and Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) she used a small ladder made out of old wire mesh so she could place it inside the water pipe so Jamie could use the ladder to get out of the water pipe. Jaime was able to survive his ordeal by eating food that was sent to him down the water pipe. Even though Jaime was thirsty after his ordeal, he is healthy and in good condition. Jaime's owner is thankful the pet is okay.

Maybe Jamie will think twice before going into water pipes.
