Or, how i spent my weekend.
Friday night saw me bobbing my head and shuffling my feet along to one of Husband's favourite bands, Sleeper. I bought him tickets for his birthday. It was a good night; tiny venue, a crowd of mostly over-forties being reminded of their youth, complete with sticky floors and a very intimate atmosphere. It got really hot, and my knee was killing me after three hours of being on my feet, but It was very much worth it.
Saturday saw us at the cinema. Two films, back to back. The first was Robin Hood {and as an aside, as something which has passed frequently through my small brain, does the verb to rob come from Rob(b)in(g) Hood, or does his legendary moniker come from the fact he went robbing and wore a hood?!} and that was effing fabulous. Of course, it's been slated by the critics, but I completely and utterly loved it. It was fast-paced, seemed a far more accurate depiction of life in medieval times, yet had both a contemporary and futuristic feel to it. Honestly, it was stonkingly good fun. We also saw Fantastic Beasts: the Crimes of Grindelwald, which was - at best - sufferable.
On Sunday - yesterday - I *forgot* to get dressed and stayed in to binge my way through the entire Season 2 of The Sinner on Netflix, not to mention the first two episodes of Amazon's Transparent.
Whoa! Now I'm exhausted, and my house is a mess.
*smile*

I think so, if only so you can grumble at the bits which go against the Harry Potter books. :)

Sad that the Fantastic Beasts film was a let down - sounds like the concert was great though

It was. Amazing. I much prefer the smaller intimate venues to the bigger ones, although you do get to sit down at the bigger ones, so ...

I really enjoyed it, hence the binge! Lots of twists and turns and some really sad bits.
