The Whole Day of Monday Did Not Agree Accordingly to My Plan

Yesterday, I was very exhausted but my transaction at the Social Security Office was a failure. I came there at 6 in the morning to get a priority number. My number was 35 and base on my estimate according to the previous experience it would be called at 11. So I went home, took my meal and groomed myself but before that I did some paper works of my home based job. I was already there before 11 but I was shocked upon watching the monitor because counter 4 was already attending client number 76. I asked the teller if I could be entertained after because my number was already called but he replied that I should ask permission first to other clients who are waiting there to be called also if it is OK for them. Out of respect, I just get another priority number and it was 148. Whew! That’s quite a long wait. What happened? I learned later that most of the early birds did not arrive also according to their turn so all of them get another priority number that’s why the calling was fast. That was really fast. Finally, at 4 in the afternoon my number was called. It just too bad that I was asked to submit a specimen signature but what I have with me is already expired. I need to come back on Tuesday. when i go to places like that, i go before lunch, lunchtime or after lunch because, usually, those that came very early eventually get hungry, sleepy, fed up and not return anymore.

That's a nice tip there. But today, it seems that they all there because no single number was missed.

We need to get early so that we can get the earlier number. There is one time that I arrived there at ten and I was not able to get because it already reached the cut off.

I can relate to that one. I think government offices are like that. They would find ways to delay you for as long as you do not satisfy their requirements and some of the requirements are not that relevant anymore and without it I think your request can be pushed on already.

I agree with you. They're really not that considerate.
