My Journey to That Office Did Not Stop Until This Afternoon

I think this would be the end of my transaction at the SSS office. After completing the necessary requirements, I now feel relieved but I still spent a number of hours there. My number is 59 and I was served at 11:45 in the morning. Aware of being served after lunch time, I just took my meal at the nearest café earlier. I just ate burger and ordered a piece of ube dessert which I have forgotten the name but it is labeled as “ube”. I think that my criticism for food is never ending. Anyway not bad for such affordable price but it’s almost a dollar.

That's how it is at SSS. So many people. Good thing they now have indeed the serving numbers.

@ZedSmart Oh that is a technical problem they should look into. Here, it is not like that. Every counter has their assigned numbers for people that will be transacting with them.

Yes, electronically but sometimes you get to stand because you're number already flashed at the screen especially if you seating at the back but the actually number in the counter is not yet the number you have. It is because it's pre-timed and just move in its own. But I think they could push it manually as well.

I was not able to consume the whole slice because the cream and milk mixture atop gave a somewhat very fatty flavor of the dessert.

@m_audrey6788 Not just sweet but I can't describe it in words. That feeling when you swallow but it's difficult because something within prevent the entry of the food because of that greasy feeling. It's not gross in term though. Sorry for that.

i thought it was blueberry because it was blue. haha! i'm used to shades of violet for anything ube-flavored. i love kakanin but i prefer the simpler, traditional ones.

I think and the milk above did not complemented the main dessert itself. I think it just the light angle that's why the colors like that.

I think it was done the same as mango float. It has graham powder in it. Ube is a purple yam and I think they made it first as jam, really don't know the process.

Good thing that you finally finish your business there. I think they are one of the government agencies that people really flock on.

@ZedSmart Oh they are efficient in penalties and everything. But when its on loan and benefits they claim its so hard and there is lots of things they would ask from you to be satisfied it to be processed.

Yes, I felt relieved. I feel pity to those old people but required to appear there and join the crowd. Some of them are keep on coming back for quite a time but benefit are not yet released. I hope they could improve that part the way they impose penalty on the premiums when you're late to pay.
