On Thanksgiving evening at a Golden Corral restaurant in Henderson North Carolina Debra Rouse was having dinner with her relatives when Hannah Marie Jarvis was feeding her daughter Calli mashed potatoes when Calli started to choke.
Debra who has been trained in handling emergencies since she works for an eye doctor went to assist Calli to breathe again by using the Heimlich Maneuver on the child until she was able to breathe again.
Hannah and Debra exchanged their names since Hannah was grateful that Debra saved the life of her child who was then taken to a local hospital for observation and is alive and well.
The two young ladies have become best friends since Debra was her guardian angel that saved her daughter's life.
