The countdown is on for the day we are waiting for. A lot of discussion whether Christ was born on the 25th has been going on for millenia.
Is it a big deal for you? For me, no big deal. Its the sharing of love and affection that is the core of the celebration.

@redurnet Like what you did, I did a research. It is the same thing, history, disect other religions, but you know what? It will lead you back to Jesus Christ. Just think of it, after we die, the discussion of "Where would you want to be ultimately? Nothingness? or in Paradise with the messiah. No tears, no pain, and no injustice. Please think again my friend. He is looking at you with open arms.

The interesting question is why do people celebrate his birthday when we know it is not Dec. 25th, he never told us to celebrate his birthday and no servant of God ever celebrated his birthday?

I think celebrating his birthday creates a sort of Christian cohesiveness. Moreover, it is to remember that a savior is born for our salvation. The saying " I believe that somewhere in the darkest night a candle glows.
