I just saw someone get fired and I felt bad

In a slaughterhouse where all employees have a knife on their hands, Drugs and alcohol are not allowed. Well one employee secretly drink alcohol to fight the cold weather and someone snitched him to the boss. No hesitation and he got fired. Alcohol is not allowed because a drunk person with a sharp object is considered dangerous. I wonder how the snitch felt now after destroying someone's livelihood.
A slaughter house is a factory filled with dangerous sharp objects and machines if you think about it. If I saw someone drinking alcohol at work, I might just advise them to stop.

People are not allowed to joke around or have conversations during work after accidents happen. Yeah the machines are dangerous, especially the circular saw.

Yes, when I was in a place like that I thought it was
very dangerous if there was one person who was drunk.
I justified his colleague's reporting actions, because with
drunken behavior, he could endanger the lives of others

He didnt really get drunk, he just take a shot to stay warm. There are people though who gets drunk for a single shot.
